DARIAN KANE is from northern California where she received her dance training at the Capitol Ballet Center in Sacramento under the direction of Stuart Carroll and Sharon Newton. From 2015 to 2018, she danced with BalletMet2 and BalletMet in Columbus, where she performed in Ohad Naharin’s Minus 16 and Gustavo Ramírez Sansano’s Carmen, as Cigaretta. She just completed her fourth season with Atlanta Ballet. In past seasons, some of her favorite roles include performing in Alexander Eckman’s Cacti, Return to a Strange Land from Jiří Kylián, and dancing the third movement principal in Sum Stravinsky choreographed by Kiyon Gaines. In 2020, she danced in an episode of Steven Spielberg’s Amazing Stories on Apple TV+. She was commissioned to create a full length original work in Atlanta Ballet’s 21/22 season which caught the attention of Dance Magazine, whose editors selected her as one of “25 to Watch” in 2022, highlighting her contemporary style as “worlds away from her regal classical ballet persona." Her work has been reviewed by several different publications including Pointe Magazine, Arts Atl, Dance Informa, NPR news/WABE, and Ballet Herald. She loves building relationships focused on growth and promoting a safe working environment for dancers.

Early-bird tuition is $150 per dancer per session until July 1. Fees increase by $50 per session on July 2. Deadline to register is July 15. If you'd like to audition for placement in Ballet Milledgeville, audition fees are waived with your Intensive registration.
Great for if you have limited time and you want to select a varying time of day or come at the same time each day, your choice.
Two sessions can be split into morning, afternoon or evening any day of the intensive! You decide what works for your schedule.
For the extreme dancer focus, attend all three sessions each day! The days are structured with breaks for lunch and dinner.
